hi all,

i checked my configuration now with ip san and it's connected with my 3750x 10G nic, there's no "spanning-tree portfast" command on it.  I don't remember if I have notes not to put it.  Just having error now when it's disconnect and reconnect and since there's no "spanning-tree portfast", it will be slow to reconnect therefore got an alert at night.

Do I need it and can i put it without any problem?

Thanks for any comment you may add.

Hi,

Yes, as long as your switch is connected to host (server, PC, SAN, etc...) it is good idea to enable "spanning-tree portfast"

Also, portfast works whether the interface is 100Mb, Gig or 10Gig.
