IP SLA question

Hi, in my company we have IP SLA configured... however I don't see any reaction configurations in there.... given this config, I believe that no management station will be notified if the threshold for an SLA is reached. Is this true?

Thanks, Lisa G

config:

!

ip sla monitor 20

type udpEcho dest-ipaddr 172.31.255.1 dest-port 888

timeout 300

threshold 150

tag CRX850ECHO

frequency 300

ip sla monitor schedule 20 life forever start-time now

ip sla monitor 30

type jitter dest-ipaddr 172.31.255.1 dest-port 99 num-packets 20

timeout 300

threshold 150

tag CRX850ECHO

frequency 300

ip sla monitor schedule 30 life forever start-time now

!

Re: IP SLA question

The config you pasted in is just telling us which tests to run.

If you wanted any action to be taken, such as notifying a monitoring station, or shutting down a link, these IP SLA statements would be referenced elsewhere in the config.

This link may help you configure the router to send SNMP traps based on this:
