hello,
I have a catalyst 4506 that moniter vlan servers and vlans users, eatch vlan is represented with a vlan interface, i want that traffic to servers pass over an IPs, how can i do that? and how can i connect my ips to the catalyst 4506 ?

connect your IPS to one free port (for example 3/7)
C4507(config)#monitor session 1 source vlan 10 both
C4507(config)#monitor session 1 destination interface gigabitEthernet 3/7

in this case, all traffic that have source vlan 10 will be inspected by the ips before it go to destination
in particular if i want to inspect traffic between vlan 10 (vlan user) to vlan 20 (vlan server), how can i configure this?
