Hi,
Need information/document on IPv6 support for vrrp .
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/ipv6/configuration/guide/ip6-fhrp.html
Above IPv6 configuration guide do not mention any IPv6 & VRRP stuffs. ( is it supported ? )

Hello Satish,
with stateless autoconfiguration and router advertisements the only possible benefit of HSRP, GLBP and eventually VRRP is a quicker convergence.
Router advertisements ICMPv6 messages are enough to make hosts aware of gateways on the wire.
see
http://www.ietf.org/dyn/wg/charter/vrrp-charter.html
VRRP is standards based and a draft about VRRP version3 for both IPv4 and IPv6 has been published
http://www.ietf.org/id/draft-ietf-vrrp-unified-spec-04.txt
it has been just published Oct 23 2009 so I think VRRP for IPv6 will be introduced when this draft will become an RFC
Hope to help
Giuseppe
