Is it possible to repair/upgrade WS-X6516-GBIC with DBUS resistors

Dear all,

we received a WS-X6516-GBIC module which we want to use in our 6509. Unnfortunately it's HW rev 5.3 and misses some DBUS termination resistors.

As it's already out of warranty, I wonder if it can be repaired simply adding the missing parts and update the hw revision in the eeprom. If not may there be any way to RMA this module?

I would prefer to renew the contract of the chassis and then having the module RMAed
