ISSU upgrade procedure

I got 02 x 4507R chassis. I want to perform IOS upgrade. It is in SSO mode. The config-register is 0x2101.

From this URL, http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4500/12.2/37sg/configuration/guides/issu.html#wp1091552, under Prerequisites #1, it mention need to change the BOOT/config-register parameter of the standby supervisior engine first

How do I go about? Does that meant that I change the ocnfig-register to 0x2102 on active engine, issue redundancy reload peer command and proceed to do issu loadversion?

Hi,

You just need to check the standby as the right boot variables and config-register value so it will boot to your current IOS if you need to abort the process for any reason. It should already be the case.

You need the same boot variables on both supervisors.
