Is there a command to limit the number of links that we want bundled in an LACP etherchannel or is the limit always 8 as default? I want to test with 4 ports in the bundle with priority 100 and a 5th port with a higher priority. I want to test how the 5th port will join the etherchannel once one of the four active links fail. But as of now even the 5th port has a higher priority it becomes part of the etherchannel... that's whay i am looking for a command to limith the etherchannel to 4 links.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
