Hi all
with lacp, does the port only become part of the channel if the other end has negoiated with the lacp pdu ? so if Isay have 4 ports configured as lacp port, and one of them does not receive an lacp pdu from the other end, will this not show up in he etherchannel summary ?

Hello Carl,
you will see in the log messages like
LACP unbundling ge x/y ...
caused by the missing lacp frames on that port.
LACP is able to detect if the ports are connnected to ports of the same remote device too
Hope to help
Giuseppe
