Re: LAN Broadcast

Hi

U need to enable it in u r router.

router(config)#int e0/0

router(config-if)#ip accounting

router(config-if)#end

router#show ip accounting

when u issue the above command u can see the ip address of the systems which are forwarding to u r default-gateway.so from here u can check for the ip address which is sending more packets.

Thanks

Re: LAN Broadcast

Hello

Yes, additionally this command mesures ip traffic only on outbound basis. and router generated traffic is not measured by this.

Re: LAN Broadcast

Hi Friend

You could also try net flow to get the traffic statistics and use application like netflow analyser to get a graphical views.

ip flow-export version 5

ip flow-export destination x.x.x.x 9996

interface fa 0/0

ip route cache-flow

You can download a 30 day trial version of netflow from the following location

http://manageengine.adventnet.com/products/netflow/index.html

HTH, rate if it does
