LAN sharing

A building is shared by two separate companies which have their own separate networks. The staff members of both organisations hotdesk and share some offices.

If we wanted to have a setup where staff from either org could patch in to an office and get access to their own network, what is the best way of doing this?

Some constraints are:

1) The networks have to be separate

2) Wireless is not an option

Re: LAN sharing

You can use Vlans, ACL, or Firewalls to keep the networks separate. It depends on the routing protocols running in the two networks along with the address block and how each network environment is set up. But Vlans would be the best bet to keep the two networks separate within a shared building.
