Layer 2 Multicast on fabric-path vlans

Hi,

we have a small network built on 4 Cisco Nexus 5596UP in a full meshed topology for layer 2 traffic only, to interconnect different servers that needs to exchange clustering information between them.

On Nexus 5000 switches it has been enabled Fabric-Path and all VLANs that we will define on them will be created as Fabric path VLANs.

Some machines connected to these Nexus 5000 needs also to communicate in multicast (i.e. Oracle RAC).

Is it possible, and how do we enable Layer 2 multicast on fabric path VLANs?

With our previous classical Ethernet network used for the same purpose, it was enough to disable igmp snooping on per-vlan basis with the command "no ip igmp snooping vlan vlan-id": is it possible to follow the same approach also for Fabric-Path VLANs?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Lucio
