Line card CPU problem

  Hi Everyone  

   Wat's the router's cpu on line cards used for ? Like Punt pactet 、ARP、CDP this kind of control level of information is handled by the linecard CPU or the CPU on Router engine。

which platform you are referring to? If its 6500 it would be still handled in RP CPU in supervisor engine and linecard only have L2/L3 Engine.
