Hello all!

Wondering if anyone knows of a command that will tell the temperature of a linecard in a Cisco 10012 router. If not, I assume I could get it via SNMP. Does anyone know of an OID that would supply that information? Thanks in advance!

"show environment" command is used to check the internal system status. The environmental monitor continually checks the interior chassis environment; it provides warnings for high temperature and creates reports on any occurrences.

Also check if "show power module " command works in this router which can give power status of specific module.

Show env only show's the input and output temperature. I am seeing a big difference between the two, so I wondering where the heat is coming from. SO I wanted to see the temp on each card individually.

I just tried show power-mod and that did not work, but thanks for the suggestion.

can you try using show environment command with options.
