Link failover for fiber ring

We are having fiber installed in a ring in seven locations. We are looking for the best way to have failover the other direction on the ring in there is a fiber cut. Can this be done with just 3560 Switches with Fiber GBics or do we have to have routers for failover etc.?

Re: Link failover for fiber ring

No, you need to have a Vlan interface on your switches and configure HSRP on them with.
