Logging a "Link Fault" on C3750

When a 3750 switch receives CRC errors/collisions, its LED goes into flashing green/amber mode to indicate link fault.

Is there anyway i can have a log event in the system log when this happens, so that i don't have to sit all day in front of the switch to know when this is happening ? :-)

You should look into configuring RMON for this kind of task.

Maybe i have been a bit unclear. Of course, i can read out the interface statistics. However, i would like to have more information on WHEN these errors have increased and this without polling via SNMP or RMON.
