logging event

Is there any specific show command to find out the interfaces which logging event (logging event link-status) enabled except sh run && sh run int.

Re: logging event

If its enabled globally all interfaces will have it turned on if not then you would have to parse thru the running config and look.

Re: logging event

Also, be aware that in some model series the "logging event link-status" is enabled by default while on others it is disabled by default.

If it is the default, then it does not show up in the config, meaning that if the model of switch you are trying out has logging event link-status enabled by default then the line will not be in the config even though the feature is actually active.

Re: logging event

logging event link-status is disabled by default on all the supervisor engines of the 4000/4500, Sup32 and Sup720. This includes the 4900 series. Other switches are enabled by default.
