I am trying to replace a 2wire ADSL modem thus far i have found out i need a device that supports PPPoE and has an RJ-11 jack on it. my isp is ATT if it matters

Do you want an integrated solution like the 1800 series (or 800 series if you don't need something quite as capable) or a HWIC based modem?

No i don't want to use the 2wire modem anymore getting away from the 100baseT and into the 1000baseT
