Hello,

On a stack of three SG500-X 24P for apparently no reason im loosing suddently the intervlan routing.

Nothing relevant in the logs.

Firmware 1.4.7.6

show ip route commands says...

Before reboot :

C 10.22.56.0/24 is directly connected, vlan 2256
C 172.16.0.0/16 is directly connected, vlan 2252
C 172.20.230.0/24 is directly connected, vlan 2253

After reboot

C 10.22.56.0/24 is directly connected, vlan 2256
C 172.16.0.0/16 is directly connected, vlan 2252
C 172.20.0.0/24 is directly connected, vlan 2251
C 172.20.230.0/24 is directly connected, vlan 2253

Do you have any clue of what could be the cause ?

Hello,

latest firmware is 1.4.8.06, upgrade to that and see if the problem persists. Also, if you are using macros, that might mess with your configuration. Try and disable macros globally by using the global config command 'no macro auto'...

Thanks Georg, will try this and let you know.

Best regards.

Problem solved... Thx 1.4.8

The first thing you want to do with these small business switches is upgrade the firmware. That usually solves most problems...
