lost arp response

I have a cisco WS-C3750-48P (factory default config) that I have connected to a device ( AM335x processor board ) when I try and ping the device from a laptop also connected to the switch I can see the arp request sent to the board and I can see an arp response from the board coming back but the switch doesnt forward that arp response to the laptop! How do I go about troubleshooting why the switch is not passing on the response?

Has the switch got anything

Has the switch got anything in its log? Perhaps the ARP response packet is malformed, or the layer2 frame is malformed.

I cant see anything I have

I cant see anything I have tried all sorts of debug commands, which one should I use? There is also no errors or drops in the show interface command! This device works fine on other switches just not on Cisco's

What is the output of "show interface" for the port the device is plugged in?
