I see lots arp traffic when looking at the network through a sniffer.

When I look at my switch I see input drops but I can not catch them incrementing at the moment.

Looking at the cpu I see this for my input traffic.

sh process cpu | i ^PID|Input

Hi Mark

Looking at the output:

  8       66776    144034        463  0.39%  0.27%  0.30%   0 ARP Input

ARP process just takes 0.3 % of the CPU cycle, which is pretty normal.. Is there any issue on the network ? Can you please let us know your network on a high level ? can you paste us the full output of show proc incase you have issues with this switch ?

hope this helps.. all the best

Raj
