lots of arp requests on print vlan

It seems my default router seems to be sending alot of arp requests to my printer vlan, they are all sourced from the routers L3 address, we are talking about 12 a second, any ideas what would be causing this many arp requests ?

Re: lots of arp requests on print vlan

Is the router Arping for an IP of an unexistent device? or maybe just shut down

Is it always the same IP?

Ask yourself the question, why is the router looking for that IP? maybe becuase someone outside of the printer vlan wants to talk to that device and since the router is in charge of the vlan it will receive the traffic.

It could also be something configured on the router itself that makes it look for an IP.
