Hello,

On a 4500 platform , such broadcast address are automatically programmed on every vlan that is allowed on a port as system mac address. This will not affect the port security configuration.

This is done so that a broadcast on VLAN is forwarded on that port.

This is seen only on 4500 platform.

I have seen this on 4948's also that interestingly enough run a 4500 image image.

4948 is based on the same architecture as a 4500 with sup5 , hence the same behavior
