MAC Flap error on cisco 3750 switch

Hi,

I got to see MaC flap error today on my cisco 3750 switch which took my siwtch offline for some time.

logs:-

%SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 0800.0ef5.dac4 in vlan 2 is flapping between port Po4 and port Fa3/0/33

%SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 0800.0e45.efe4 in vlan 2 is flapping between port Po4 and port Fa3/0/41

%SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 0800.0e56.1f1 in vlan 2 is flapping

Could anyone tell me what cause ths and what precaution do i need to take??

Generally, this can happen when users are roaming from one wireless ap to another. Do you have APs connected to these ports?

To make sure that PO4 is running well. What kind of device is connecting to PO4?

What type of interface are you using on the PO4? Fiber?
