hi! in our svr room we hv a range of private (192.168.x.x) ip that's being used for our ups and pdu management and monitoring. I'm trying to configure smtp in the ups central svr to forward event triggered through email. We've a corporate smtp server which is using a routable IPs which i can use to forward the event triggered to our email. But, i noticed that this will only work if my ups central svr is using the routable IPs given by our corporate office. I think there isn't any route from their end to our end for the private ip we used.
Is there any workaround for this problem? eg. can i setup a smtp relay using win iis for this? If yes, what need to be done from our end and their end? Any smtp relay required in the router end?
