Hi,
Does anyone know what is the maximum number of static routes that can be placed on a Cisco 2501 router? It is currently running 11.1(4) releasce (fc)
Ball park figure accepted.
Thanks

Hi Alber,
The maximum memory an the 2500 series is only 16Mb, so you really should not have that many routes on the routing table. If I ware to guess, it would be the range of 500 to 1000 static routes.

Hi Albert,
Main Processor Memory is used for routing tables, fast switching cache, running configuration, and so on. It can take unused shared I/O memory, if needed.
Check out the below link for more information for 2500 series routers

Hope to help !!
