Maximum Spanning tree instances on Cat3750

Hello,

I've read that a Cat3750 can support 128 spanning-tree instances for 128 different vlans.

I have only about 10 vlans but the 'show spanning tree summary' gives a total of 154 STP active ports. Is that a problem ? I've found limits for this number for Cat4500 and Cat6500 but not for the smaller Catalyst.

Don't they have limits for these logical ports ?

Thanks

i dont think there is a limit. you can have as many number of active STP ports doesnt matter how many STP ports you have. The 128 instance applies to the number instances enable for the active vlans in vlan database. so you can have up to 128 stp vlan instances.
