Media Type is 1000BaseSX in all ports in a balde

I have a WS-X4418-GB 18 ports gigabit blade in a Catalyst 4507. The media type in all the ports is being reported as 1000 base SX even when there is no GBIC in the ports.

Has anyone come across a similar situation before?

Reseating the module fixed the issue.
