1. I understand that the 3750 series switches will accept 120-240 AC voltage. Does Cisco provide a 208Vac plug for the higher voltage?

2. I'm purchasing two cisco switches for our design. Does it make sense for these to be connected with the Stackwise interconnects. There is some crossover between the switches and I understand the single IP and configuration advantages. I just don't see the additionals. Also concerned if I do that the stackwise interface will eat up backplane bandwidth. I have many Vlan's.

3. Do I have to have a console access before I attempt to configure a new switch?

1. I dont think that any switch has 208Vac.

2.If these switches are to be located in the same RACK then yes it is advisable to inter-connect them using the stacking cable. The stack inter-connection gives you a 32Gbps high-speed stacking bus and this will not give any pefromance impact on it.

3.No,You dont have console into the switch to configure it for the first time. You can run express setup feature on the switch to manage it from the web GUI.

1. The input voltage in auto-ranging per your spec. The question is the AC cord that is supplied can I get a 208VAC version.

I would like to ask one more...does the Cisco router use NTP say for SNMP event time stamping?

NTP works on UDP which inturn runs over IP. If you have configured NTP service on your router and your router clock is sync'd with the NTP server then it will use the same clock for time stamping on router log events or SNMP events.
