I wanted to change the mac address of a specific interface in my 2960 switch. According to many websites i've been to, this can be easily done by using the "mac-address" command under any interface. But, that command does not exist in my switch even though i have the newest IOS (version 15). I even tried it on my 3560G switch but with no luck.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
