Modular IOS rollout on 6500s + copy wildcards

We have done this on one 6509 and so we have the filesystem on a CF card. This took 2 reboots. 1 to get the image running to extract and "install" and a 2nd time so that the system boots to the extracted filesystem so that it supports patching. Is there a way to copy all the files and directories on 1 CF card to another by wildcards. Can the upgrade be done in a 1 reboot process if starting from a non-modular IOS?

Thanks,

Glenn

Re: Modular IOS rollout on 6500s + copy wildcards

There is no wildcard command that can do this so its not possible. But it will better to copy all files to a tftp server and then copy them to the second card. But I one think I would like to know that When I tried to copy a file from server mode to the flash directory of all the devices in the network mode using the wildcard character "*" the connection is getting lost.
