module mls_rate disabling

Hi,

A Gigaehternet module of Cisco 6509 prompts a disabling log when the device reloads/reset.I wander if it'll affect the function of this module.If it will,which function will be lost?

Following is the detail of the diabling log:

00:02:02: %DIAG-SP-6-RUN_MINIMUM: Module 2: Running Minimal Diagnostics...

00:02:16: %MLS_RATE-4-DISABLING: The Layer2 Rate Limiters have been disabled.

00:02:16: %DIAG-SP-6-DIAG_OK: Module 2: Passed Online Diagnostics

00:02:27: %OIR-SP-6-INSCARD: Card inserted in slot 2, interfaces are now onlineUnauthorized Access Prohibited!

Can you issue a "show fabric switching-mode" and see if the switch is in truncated mode? L2 Rate limiters will not work if the switch is operating in truncated mode.
