Hi All,
I have
I want to shutdown the link between A and C.
The port Gi 1/2 of C is a L2 port in fwd state.
Router C is running mst
Interface of router A is a L3 port.
When I shutdown the link what will happen to the L2 topology of router C? There will be mst recalculation?
Thanks

Hi Fabio,
I don't understand yet why the Po100 port on Router C is in Blocking State.
Since Gi1/1 on Routers A and B are routed ports (or what do you mean by 'L3 port'?), they cannot be part of the spanning-tree - so I wouldn't expect any change in the spanning-tree topology if one of these ports are shutdown.
Could you elaborate on why the portchannel is in Blocking State when the redundant path in question is segregated by Layer 3?
I assume that you posted only a part of the LAN-topology?
Regards
Rolf

Hi Rolf,
Thanks or answering.
My fault, of course this is only part of the topology so do no try to understand why the interface is in BLK you do not have enough information.
I agree with you investigation and yes, the Gi1/1 on Router A and B are routed port.
