Hi all,
In my company we want to connect a server to two Catalyst 6500 forming a Etherchannel in order to have greater redundancy without losing bandwitch.
Looking for information, I have read that it is possible with Multi-chasis LACP protocol (mLACP).
We have two Catalyst 6509 with two supervisors SUP-7203B each in SSO mode.
This is my doubt:
Could we configure it with those supervisors or we need upgrade to VSS supervisors?
Thanks!!!
Iker.

Hi Iker,
To have switch redundancy and also NIC redundancy, you would need to set up your 6500 as VSS, but for VSS you need Sup-720-VS with PFC 3C or 3CXL. Sup-720-3B will not work.
