multicast helper-map

Hi dear Pro's

I have a bit of a problem digesting the helper-map discussion; assume that Host A n the network is not capable of doing multicasts, only broadcast n unicast. we want to enabel it both send and recive multicast to the other end of our network - using UDP port 4500 :

(HOSTA) ------ [10.10.10.32/27] --------- (R1) ----------- [serial link] ------------ (R2) ------ [10.10.10.1/27] ----------- (Multicast-Server)

from what i researched i though of the below config, plz correct me if im wrong and any explanation is very very apperciated!

R1:

ip forward-protocol udp 4500

ip access-list 101 permit udp 10.10.10.32 0.0.0.31 any eq 4500

Fa0/0

ip pim sparse-mode

ip multicast helper-map 10.10.10.63 239.1.1.1 101

ip directed-broadcast

S0/1

ip pim sparse-mode

ip multicast helper-map 239.1.1.1 10.10.10.63 101

R2

F0/0

ip pim sparse-mode

S0/2

ip pim sparse-mode

Many Thanks.

Hope it Helps, Soroush.
