I've been trying to configure a test enviornment for a multicast scenario.
--(192.168.1.1)--(MCSRCRTR)--72.72.72.0/24--(MCRTR)--205.176.20.0/30--(MCRTRRP)--205.176.30.4--(MC_RCVR)---2.2.2.2
I did a test ping on MCSRCRTR by 'ping 239.0.0.10 source 192.168.1.1 repeat 500'. I can see the following on the MCRTR

It looks like the source is joined in a SPT, which it should be with Sparse mode to the RP, but as you can see the OIL is null, with my understanding that no hosts have joined the Multicast Group 239.0.0.10.
on MC_RCVR on lo0 I did a
int lo0
ip igmp join-group 239.0.0.10
OSPF is configured in area 0 throughout with all networks verified operational and working with each other.
I don't see a PIM Join leaving the router towards the RP, and it appears that the host is not joining the gruop 239.0.0.10 for whatever reason, I can't figure that part out.
I did 'no ip mroute-cache' as well on all PIM Sparse Mode interfaces, which had the same problem, so I put it back'.
Any help would be appreciated.
