We currently have a multicast video feed that enters our facility on a 3745 router with an OC-3 ATM card. Since this device is end of life, we planned on swapping it out with a Cisco 3825 with the corresponding ATM 0C-3 card(NM-1A-OC3-POM). We maintained the same configuration going from the 3745 to the 3825, but after swapping out the device, we see traffic coming in on the ATM inteface, but not being sent out from that point. We have switched from Sparse-Dense mode to Dense mode for testing and still have the same results. We've put the 3745 back inline in the mean time, but I'm wondering if there is something we are missing configuration wise or if the NM-1A-OC3-POM doesn't support multicast in the way we were expecting it to.
