Multiple switches, 1 Router, what is the management VLAN?

Hey everyone, I have a question to ask that I am not understanding.

Lets say I have one router (R1) and two switches (S1, and S2). I have 4 vlans, VLAN 10, VLAN 20, VLAN 30, VLAN 50. My interface on the router has subinterfaces setup.

fa0/0.10 = 10.1.10.1 (LAN)

fa0.0.20 = 10.1.20.1 (VOICE)

fa0/0.30 = 10.1.30.1 (SERVERS)

fa0/0.50 = 10.1.50.1 (Management)

For each switch S1 and S2, DO I use the command:

S1(config)#interface vlan 50

S1(config-if)#ip address 10.1.50.10 255.255.255.0

S2(config)#interface vlan 50

S2(config-if)#ip address 10.1.50.11 255.255.255.0

Would that be a proper setup to be able to manage my switches through telnet, using the (Management VLAN)? or how would i setup the ip addresses to be able to telnet/ssh to each switch in my network?
