I'm getting ready to have to break a vlan into 3 separate vlans where as I have one user which needs to be connected to each vlan. Is this possible?

Does the one user really need to be connected to all 3 vlans or can he just be connected to one vlan and route to the other 2 ?

If he really does need to be connected at L2 to all vlans then you need to make the users connection a trunk connection ie. 802.1q

This is if the NIC in the user's machine can support 802.1q.
