N7K-RMK= is ok for rack mouting of 6506 and 6509 ?

Hi,

A customer have some trouble with 6506 and 6509 chassis. They are too heavy for their racks. More exactly, he cannot put chassis only on the front rack, otherwise the rack twists !!

I think, if we can put the chassis on the front and the back rack, it will be OK. But I cannot find it.

Mouting kit of Nexus 7010 is exactly what I want (N7K-RMK=).

Does anyone know if I can use it for WS-C6506 and WS-C6509 ?

Otherwise, perhaps there is a kit(CISCO or not) that you had used for it ?

Hi,

You cannot use the 7k rack mount for the 6500.  The 7010 is a lot deeper than 6500.  You need rack mount for the 6500 series.
