Hi,
I was wondering if the 3550 Switch Supported Nbar. I doesn't look like it but I really need it to see why our citrix servers clients are not getting lags.
I have a 3350 with 4 vlans routed through a 10 MB Wan ethernety link provided by the ISP.
The latency is 29 ms which way within Citrix client parameters. I checked and setup tested the mtu size with citrix servers and changed the clients to mtu size of 1000. Which does not fragment.
Any information would helpfull.
Thanks

Hi Raj ,
3550 doesn't support NBAr feature due to the hardware limitation.
Additinal Info:
One of the limitations on the Cat3550 is that "The only match criterion in a policy map that can be attached to an egress
interface is the match ip dscp dscp-list class-map configuration command":
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/c3550/12225see/cr/cli1.htm#wp1864211
Also, "You cannot use the service-policy interface configuration command to attach policy maps that contain these elements to an egress interface:
*set or trust policy-map class configuration commands. Instead, you can use the police policy-map class configuration command to mark down (reduce) the DSCP value at the egress interface.
*Access control list (ACL) classification.
*Per-port per-VLAN classification.":
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/c3550/12225see/cr/cli2.htm#wp3418068
Last, not least, LLQ is not supported on the Cat3550 platform.
Here are some useful links regarding the QoS options on the Cat3550 platform:

Hope it helps you.

If the wan is a ethernet link you should check with the provider to see if the link will run 10/full if it is currently running 10/half . A 10/half link will start to see degradation at any levels above about 30-35% utilization .
