Need help getting to rommon prompt on Cat 2950

Hi,

I'm trying to use Hyperterminal to get to the rommon prompt on a cat 2950, but can't seem to do it. I've been using Ctrl-Break, Break, Ctrl-F6-Break. But it keeps loading up without going into rommon. Can anyone please tell me the proper sequence to access rommon with the 2950? Thanks!

Hi Steve

On the 2950 I think that you press the "Mode" button on the front when you power up the switch.

This should interrupt the boot sequence and leave you at a prompt that looks like

switch:
