Hi all,
can anyone help me on what command i will execute on hyperterminal to copy the IOS from my pc to switch.
My problem is that the switch does not boot because the flash was not found.
I downloaded a flash but i dont know how to copy it from my pc to the switch using hyperterminal.
when i type this command:
switch: copy ?
this will show
usage: copy [-b <buffer_size>] <src_file> <dst_file>
what does buffer size mean and can someonegive me an example command on how to execute that command.
Please someone help me......

You can try to "download" the IOS via the console cable using XModem, particularly the switch command "xmodem -r -s 115200". This command means that the IOS will be loaded into the DRAM (-r switch) and the upload will be using high speed at 115200 bps (-s switch).
Xmodem Console Download Procedure Using ROMmon
Hope this helps.
