Need some help with a WS-C2960G-48TC-L

Hi guys, my first time on here.

Im having an issue with a WS-C2960G-48TC-L

It boots up ad this is what happens

Hi Reza.

Welcome to the forum.

It seems that you have a bad/corrupted image installed. Can you download a new copy of the IOS and reload it again?

I have done that. when i dir flash: this is what i get

Hold on ... Did you download again from the Cisco website? Or did you re-upload the suspected corrupted file?

I got the file from cisco and xmodem it. the crash info was not there until after i put the new file on and rebooted the unit

I go with Reza (+5). I've never used the SE6 flavour. Use 12.2(55)SE instead.

I would delete the current one on flash and download:

c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-55.SE.bin

Once this image is loaded into flash reboot the switch.

Make sure you don't reboot the switch when there is no image on the flash

how should i delete the current file? once i boot the unit i wont let me do anything. i cant get to switch> mode. can i do that from switch: mode?

Hey Reza,

Based on the error messages that you are seeing:

I would say that you have a faulty switch. I would open a TAC case to have this switch replaced via RMA.
