Need to convert CATOS to IOS

All, we've recently purchased a sup-32 module for a 6500. For some reason, they sent us one with CATOS. I need to convert it to IOS. I have the IOS file I need, I just haven't found any good documentation on how to do it. Can you help me out? I should point out that I have a memory card with an IOS on it that I plugged into the sup engine. However when I try to boot from rommon it says "device does not contain a valid magic number".
