netflow command

Whats the difference between putting "ip route-cache flow" on an interface or "ip flow ingress " . Is this just a code version issue on 12.4T code? I put ip route-cache flow on the interface and it changes to ip flow ingress on the interface by itself. Running 12.4.24T1 .

Hi Glen,

Yes, command have been changed with code but both achieve same function. I remembered that I was not able to use 'ip flow ingress' in older version code.

Usage guideline of this command explicitly mentioned about this.

Thanks that's what I thought . It even automatically puts it on any subinterfaces on the router without typing anything in . This 12.4.24T code has some differences , like the ntp server command used to be right at the bottom of the config, they have moved it now so that it is like right under all the AAA commands way up top . Not sure why they did that ...
