New Data Centers (Nexus 7000's at each site)

Our company is looking to move into a new data center (hosted solution). At the primary site we are looking to deploy a Nexus 7009. Our disaster recovery site will be at one of our hospitals which is about 3 miles away. This site will also have a Nexus 7009. Below is a list of what we are looking at:

Primary Site

The sites will be connected via two pairs of Dark Fiber at 10Gig using Long Range transceivers (using 32 Port 1G/10G switch). One pair will be for Data/VMotion and the other for storage (FCOE). The SAN at each site (Compellent) will have FCOE connections to the Nexus. The physical servers and ESXi servers will also be connected on both sides via FCOE.

With the above configuration, servers on both sides will be able to see the SAN's at the Primary and DR site. This will allow us to run VM's from either site and from either SAN. Compellent has a feature called Live Volume which will automatically move the "Live Volume - LUN" from one site to another and perform replication to the other sites. This allows us to move VM's and LUNS between sites without downtime.

Am I overlooking anything that would cause this setup not to work? I read that the Nexus 5000 series can only do ~3km for FCOE. I read that the Nexus 7000 series can do ~30 km due to larger buffers (BB credits - for lossless connections). Also, am I missing any licenses? I have listed the Layer 3 license so we can do RIP and BGP routing for our MPLS connections to other sites throughout the company. Thanks.
