nexus 3000 and open flow

Hi

Been looking at the nexus 3000 and open flow.

Does this work with neus 7000 s  can they use

the plug-in for openflow ?

Would i use the Nexus 3000 for tap and span

aggregation with emedded broker

We dont have a huge network .

It seems unless i have this wrong that the nexus 5596

and nexus 5600  can use the plug-in for openflow

but the 7000 cannot as yet

Hi Steve,

The OpenFlow plug-in is available for the Nexus 3000, 3100, 3500, 5500, 5600, and 6000 platforms today.  Support for the Nexus 7000 platforms is currently in early field trial testing.

Of all the platforms, I would say that the Nexus 3500 is the most feature rich when it comes to OpenFlow.
