Nexus 5000/7000 VPC-Status via SNMP

Hi,

I am trying to find a way to monitor the Status of the VPC-Domain on a pair of Nexus 5000/ 7000 (overall health, any inconsistency problems, status of individual VPCs, ... etc.).

So far I was not able finding anything related to VPC in the existing MIBs available for Nexus devices.

Did anyone run across this or has a suggestion where to find related MIBs?

Hello Martin

Currently snmp for vpc is not supported in nexus platform but it's in the roadmap.

And there is currently ongoing work to implement this functionality.

At the moment VPC status can be trched via DCNM.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for letting me know that this feature is currently not available (and on the roadmap).

At my work, we are actually just starting to implement a DCNM, but I am not yet familiar with it.

Most of our monitoring is done via SNMP.

I will look more into the DCNM, to see its options/ possibilities.
