We are looking at implementing a Nexus 5000 Core. I am a little confused around the L3 options on a 5548.
What do I need to provide L3 capabilities?
Is it just a license or do I need a daughter card? Does the daughter card come with an L3 license? I need to run OSPF - does the N55-BAS1K9 provide unlimited OSPF routes on Nexus 5000?. The Cisco Licensing document only describes limitations on this license on a 3000 series.
You need daughter card to turn on L3 features in Nexus 5548. Yes card is coming with N55-BAS1K9-BUN - Layer 3 License. As far I am concerned it providing 256 dynamically learnt routes. For unrestricted you need to go with enterprise.
