Hi;
One of our project , we planning to use two N710K switches. As i know nexus series doesn't support VSS technology like on the 6500 series. It supports vpc, but vpc is only allowed us to create one etherchannel group on different chasis.
So if we want to implement redundancy on nexus , are we need to use hsrp or glbp ? If not what do you suggest ?
Thanks
Best regards

Hello.
VPC is not only allows to create multi-chassis port-channels.
Idea is to present 2 n7k as one logical switch for end-devices and at the same time have 2 separate devices which can handle the traffic.
Using vpc - is already redundancy - in case of failure if one chassis you will always have the second one forwarding traffic seamlessly for the end-user.
For default gateway - FHRP protocols should be used.

Hello;
Let me clarify; when we use vpc ,it provide us redundancy for endpoints traffic but for endpoint devices only one of nexus still running as a gateway ?
So for gateway redundancy we still need to use hsrp,vrrp etc. solution in addition to vpc configuration

You are correct.
If you will use nexuses as l2 switches - yes - they both will act as one logical switch for VPC endpoints.
But for routing you will need to point a some gateway IP address and int this part nexuses acts as 2 different
boxes - so you will need an FHRP protocol to deal with that.
